Daily Sketch: Passerine

Awoke to snow and the morning call of the American Robin (Turdus migratorius; not depicted). Although the Robin's winter range does include the DC region, it is rare to hear them signing in their morning call in January. It made me think of spring and the different Passeriformes of life it brings. Here are two sketches of an Eastern bluebird (Sialia sialis) and a Townsend's warbler (Dendroica townsendi).
