Professional info

Kate is a professional illustrator with an extensive background and education in the biological sciences.  Occasionally she will take commissions for scientific drawings, medical illustrations, cover design or book illustrations.  But mostly she likes it when people request prints of the pieces she already made.

Work experience

Cover Art.

April 2015:  Neuron

June 2015:  Trends in Neurosciences

Collaborating with scientists has taught me about the way people think.  I try to incorporate what I have learned in the field of neuroscience into my work to make the most effective art.  A good cover design can draw in the appropriate reader and expose the research to a broader audience.
